What's New This Spring in Key West

Key West is a unique city for many reasons. One thing that is particularly attractive about the city is the way that it blends history with modernity. There are tons of historic attractions to check out, but there's also always something new! Here's what's new this spring in Key West.

New Exhibits at Florida Keys Eco-Discovery Center: At Truman Waterfront Park, visiting families can now enjoy exhibits that highlight Florida Keys mangrove habitats and allow interaction with life-size mangrove branches.

Keys Pride Anniversary Celebration: The Key West Business Guild is planning a 20th anniversary celebration to commemorate the island city’s famed 1.25-mile-long sea-to-sea rainbow flag with a variety of events. Festivities will take place June 7-11, 2023.

Flamingo Lodge & Restaurant: In Everglades National Park, a new restaurant is in the final stages of construction. It will offer indoor and outdoor dining, right in the heart of the everglades!

Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium: Mote recently began offering complimentary tours to the public. This facility, which is located in Key Largo, is the third land-based Keys coral nursery. They do incredible conservation work.
