If you're like me, then autumn's approach has you dreaming about parties full of craft beer and pretzels. Well, you don't have to dream any longer! Oktoberfest is almost upon us! Here's how you can celebrate in the Florida Keys.
Lower Keys Chamber of Commerce’s Oktoberfest
Details are still emerging about this Oktoberfest celebration, but what we know so far makes it sound like a blast! This one-day German-style celebration will take place on October 6, 2022 at Summerland Cove on East Shore Drive on Summerland Key. There will be events for the whole family to enjoy! Browse an art market, sip brews in the beer garden, dine on German dishes, and enjoy Bavarian-style music provided by the Bob Houston Orchestra.
If you feel like traveling to Miami...
There are two Oktoberfest celebrations taking place in Miami. Wynwood Oktoberfest will take place September 9-11, 2022. It will feature seasonal brews, an indoors grand “Munich” beer hall, long festival tables, German bands, beer games, authentic food, and an artisan market. On October 14-16 and 22-23, 2022, Oktoberfest Miami- the longest running Oktoberfest in the state- will take place. They will celebrate with German beers, live German music, German food, and German folk dancing.
