July 17th is National Ice Cream Day! To celebrate, we've compiled a list of our favorite local ice cream shops. Come grab a scoop!
Mattheessen's: Homemade goodies abound at this local dessert shop! For the full Key West experience, grab a scoop of toasted coconut or key lime ice cream.
Flamingo Crossing: This shop has been making its own ice cream since 1987! Their ice cream is delicious. With tropical flavors like guava, key lime, and coconut, they truly capture the spirit of Key West!
Kilwin's: This small chain has excellent, old-fashioned treats, including some truly tasty ice cream. Since Kilwin's also makes amazing candies and fudge, we recommend ice cream loaded with chocolate, served in a buttery waffle bowl!
Tropical Vibes Cones & Bowls: This funky ice cream shop is so fun! They are heavily influenced by Hawaiian culture, and they are eco friendly!
Wicked Lick: This unique shops serves ice cream made with liquid nitrogen. Each scoop is perfect and fresh!
